How much to tip for a massage
Most people tip 15 to 20 percent of the regular price of the massage.
For Wonder Spa's own tipping details, ask when you book or call 720-688-3967.
Working out the number
Take 15 percent for a session that was fine and 20 for one you were glad you booked. As plain arithmetic, that's $15 to $20 on a $100 massage. Round to an easy figure; nobody expects it to the cent.
Special prices
If you booked a special or used a discount, tip on the regular price of that appointment. The therapist did the same work either way.
Couples massage
At a couples massage, each person tips their own therapist, based on that session's price. Work out two tips, not one.
How to give it
Tip at the end, once you know how it went. Cash handed to your therapist is the long-standing way; for cards, see the last question below.
Tipping questions
Do I have to tip for a massage?
At most spas a tip is a courtesy rather than part of the service. Practices differ, so ask Wonder Spa when you book or call 720-688-3967.
Can I tip more than 20 percent?
Yes, there's no ceiling. Some people go higher for a therapist they see regularly or a session that beat their expectations.
What if I am unhappy with the massage?
Speak up during the session so the therapist can adjust. If it still falls short, tip what feels fair to you and tell the spa afterward.
Can I put the tip on my card at Wonder Spa?
Ask before your visit: call 720-688-3967 or ask when you book. Then you'll know whether to bring cash.
